•  South Zone PSCs and APL rural sites: Transport at refrigerated temperatures
•  CGY DSC: Store refrigerated until analysis

Analysis includes Protein total, urine, 24 hour

No reference range. Interpretation is reported and will include quantitation
of the intact monoclonal protein and/or free light chain, if present.


Comments:
•  If indicated, immunofixation analysis is performed upon approval by a Clinical Chemist or General Pathologist
•  For discussion of rare cases where immunofixation is not performed based on analysis of the UPE pattern, but may be indicated based on clinical grounds, please contact the Clinical Chemist Team:
