- Preferred Collection Device/Tube Type:

Sterile 60 mL plastic container (orange-top).
- Collection Instructions:

1.
Pass urine into toilet prior to collection the stool specimen
2.
Collect the specimen in a wide-mouth container.
NOTE: The stool specimen must not come in contact with urine or water3.
Alternatively:
· Place a large piece of plastic food wrap under the toilet seat and over the toilet opening
· Pass stool onto the plastic-wrap
· Transfer the specimen to the sterile 60 mL container

Fill ½ to ¾ of entire 60 mL container. Do not overfill
