Collection Instructions:
-
1. | Moisten swab with transport medium |
2. | Swab perineal areas surrounding the anal orifice |
3. | Pass the tip of a sterile swab approximately 2 cm beyond the anal sphincter |
4. | Carefully rotate the swab to sample the anal crypts and withdraw the swab |
5. | Carefully place swab back into the collection device without contaminating it |
